Another goal of the CEEP is to assist with funding for transportation. The farmers and small scale businessmen and women in the rural areas are greatly handicapped by lack of transportation and very poor roads. Our goal is to improve the roads and provide transportation at a much lower cost. For example, a bus or truck, would be used by the farmers and petty traders to travel to and from the markets where they sell their products. This assistance will improve the efficiency of the operations of the daily activities of the "workers" in the community and they will be required to maintain the vehicle and assume ownership and full responsibility as soon as possible. This will avoid any sense and culture of dependency on outside help in perpetuity.
